Organisations of all sizes participate and you receive a minimum salary of £14,000 (pro rata) whilst on your placement. A supplement of £1,500 is already included to placements based in the Highlands and Islands.

Participating businesses are dynamic, growth-oriented and located across Scotland, within the private and voluntary sectors. Projects last from three months to one year and must be quantifiable and measureable

 

17 April 2013 – Administraor Researcher (Graduate Placement)

Carry out day to day running of the Greenbrae Stoves Dingwall outlet, dealing with customers and suppliers.  Undertake market research with existing customers and investigate new trade outlets; review the existing website and oversee a new online sales website.

16 April 2013 – Scottish Enterprise Graduate Programme (Graduate Placement)

Scottish Enterprise is currently looking for bright graduates for a two-year structured programme. The graduate programme will be structured to your individual degree and skills, with an aim to have you working in a client-facing role as quickly as possible. 9 April 2013 – Graduate Water Quality Environmental Scientist (Graduate Placement)

Biomatrix Water, based in Forres, Moray are recruiting for a technically skilled graduate for a project role which will involve the development of strategic plan to attain work under the water framework directive (WFD).  WFD is a major piece of EU legislation mandating improvements in water quality to hundreds of miles of waterway across the EU with required improvements to the water environment worth billions.  After the initial training the water treatment technician will have the opportunity to take on and develop new projects responding to inquiries for algae control, weed control and water quality improvement.
